About media painting. Milles excuses
Like many painters, I paint on canvases of cotton, flax or both mixed materials. but I especially love painting on rigid wood, masonite . I am neither the first and should be neither the last to use it as support. as its name suggests, "the masonite " isolates. You the often find in the world of furniture: for funds cabinet, drawer bottoms ... Of course, such as wood, his worst enemy is water.
In my usage, it allows me to work freely with all the materials that I use to give volume to my paintings finished. the canvas would be all too fragile . it remains a heavier fabric, but remains at least as reassuring sustainability.
Well, I hope this information has provided the answer to the curiosity of some.
Feel free to ask me questions. If I can, I would say.
